Making one giant leap forward for collectors is Dragon’s new Action 18 Hero range of figures! The first four astronaut action figures come as a complementary assortment, and they are beautifully made to 1/18 scale (3.75-inch). Every figure in the quartet represents an Apollo astronaut, and they come with differentiating features and accessories. One astronaut has planted the “Stars and Stripes” flag on the Moon’s surface, another carries a camera, while a third wields a scoop with which to collect lunar soil specimens.

The face of the fourth figure can be seen as he has taken off his helmet and carries it in his hands. All the figures come with individual dioramic stands so that they can be realistically displayed.

All the action figures feature ball joints to give their legs and arms an appropriate degree of articulation within their spacesuits. Making use of Dragon’s vast experience in producing 12-inch action figures, this set is simply stunning. They soar far above toy-like figures from other manufacturers, and their individual painting is equal to that in the best of collections.
