Dragon’s newest 1/72 scale Space Collection model commemorates these groundbreaking Gemini spaceflights. The model includes a Gemini spacecraft as well as a spacewalking astronaut. The capsule could carry two astronauts, and indeed this model boasts two crewmen. The craft is based on the Gemini craft previously released (Item No.50385) but it features special modifications. The hatch is shown open, allowing a good view of the interior of the cramped spacecraft. The two astronauts are extremely well sculpted in this scale – one is performing a spacewalk whilst tied to his 8m-long tether, and the other is monitoring proceedings from inside the capsule. Such a legendary scene has been captured poignantly in this fine new model!
