“Charlie Duke at Descartes” Lunar Rover Model Signed by Charlie Duke
In April 1972, astronauts Charlie Duke and John Young drove the Lunar Rover across the Descartes region of the rugged lunar highlands — the roughest terrain yet encountered on the moon. The discoveries they made and the samples they collected on the Apollo 16 mission radically redefined our understanding of lunar evolution.
Our limited-edition Proach Signature Series model, “Charlie Duke at Descartes” features an incredibly detailed replica of the Lunar Rover and captures a moment when Charlie is preparing to do a sampling of the lunar surface.
It has been personally signed by Charlie himself.
