Developing Project Apollo
Item #: DVD-PROJECT-APOLLO
Developing Project Apollo
We hold a certain fascination with how Apollo was developed. Just as with any other program, there were initial ideas that weren't developed, methods and hardware abandoned. Rare audiovisual material produced by NASA surrounding the development of the Apollo program. From an early reentry simulation through a film on the triumph of teamwork after attaining the lunar goal, these films represent unique slices in the story of Apollo. Dated from 1962 through 1969, these films include several spacecraft and flight crew status reports, demonstrations of the projected lunar mission profile along with an accounting of flight qualification progress.
Running time over 3 1/2 hours.
