This set features all 3 early American spacecraft – Mercury, Gemini and the Apollo CSM in 1/48 scale.
Mercury features its distinct shingle detail, silver-soldered brass escape tower, and full detailed retro pack cables and straps. Gemini highlights include full shingle, nose thruster detail and even come with the gold Mylar insulation wrap at the aft end of the equipment module. The Block II Apollo spacecraft comes molded in industrial plastic, and is well detailed using drawings and information we’ve accumulated over the years. All three models are mounted on a black lacquered wooden base along with the 3 project emblems for the different manned programs of Mercury, Gemini and Apollo.
