Mercury Atlas- 5 Enos Flown Parachute
Framed in this acrylic presentation is a cut-portion of a flown-recovered-retrieved parachute of the Mercury Atlas 5 (spacecraft no. 9) spaceflight with Enos, the space chimp, aboard. MA-5 was the second and final orbital qualification flight of NASA's Project Mercury program prior to a manned orbital spaceflight in 1962.
The flown parachute segments were kept as souvenirs by some of the MA-5 orbital spaceflight team. The cut segment below is one of the flown chute's Ringsail fabric that had been retained by the Lacey family from 1961 to 2016. Lacey, an original Project Mercury team member was a cut-portion of, was auctioned off by the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation in Titusville, Fl.

We are required to fill out the forms when we ship your package. We ALWAYS lower the price, near or cost, as to help reduce what may be imposed and charged to our customers.
RETURNS:
Returns are accepted and given full refunds, if the item is returned in the original condition received. Refunds are then authorized and made to the method of payment that was made.
Special Orders, such as the Replica Apollo Suit cannot be cancelled, once ordered. Art Prints, Astronaut Suits and Models once shipped, cannot be cancelled. If returned, there is a 15% restocking fee. All orders older than 30 days that are returned for any reason, are also charged a 10% restocking fee.
