Skylab was the first American permanent spacestation. Launched in 1973 three crews visited the station till 1979 when the station fell back to earth. Main mission goals were to study the effects of a longer spaceflight to the human body.
This presentation bears a piece of a beta cloth strap given to astronaut Karl Henize as part of a presentation from the second Skylab crew. Comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity plus a fact sheet about Skylab.
The source of this strap is the collection of Karl Henize sold at Swann's auction/New York.
