The Space Shuttle was the first reusable spaceship in the world. A total of 6 Space Shuttle's were build : Enterprise, Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour. Two Space Shuttle's were lost in flight : Challenger (STS-51L) and Columbia (STS-107).
This presentation bears a complete flown washer from Challenger flown washers from STS-51 F - Spacelab 2. Comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity plus a fact sheet about the Shuttle and a copy of the original NASA papers documenting this bolt was flown in space on STS-51 F.
Please note : This bolt is NOT from the ill-fated flight STS-51 L but has been removed before during regular maintenance - it is completely legal to own these shuttle parts unless they are from the accident itself. Same applies to Space Shuttle Columbia.
